magazine titles

All of these magazine titles could  possibly be the title of my magazine as they go with the genre of music that I would like to do my magazine. I like the title NME as it is short and also memorable, for this I could also cover the title as it is well known and people would automatically know the title of the magazine and so they don't necessarily need to see the whole of the title. also I think the theme of red white and black throughout the whole of this magazine looks good as a house style as it goes with the genre of music.

In my opinion the KERRANG title looks good as I like the effect of the smashed glass, however I do not like the fact that it is a banner as it blocks out some of the background and therefore I don't think that I could cover the title with my model or a little bit of background. I also think that if I use a title like this then I could choose my colour scheme and therefore I could make this really original and I like the idea of this.

I think that EMPIRE is the weakest magazine title as it is not well known and therefore I don't think I could cover the title as it would be less known and people wouldn't know what magazine it is. I also like the red title as it will stand out as I would like to use a black and white theme also as it goes well with my genre of music which is indie/rock. I like the connotations of the title as it shows that it is big and therefore it dominates.
