With more than 60 iconic media brands, across print, online, mobile, tablets and events.
As my magazine is inspired by NME I have decided to research IPC as they publish this, I think this will be a good publisher to use as they publish many magazines and are worldwide.
It stared so that its various subsidiaries would no longer be in competition with each other in this market, this meant that the company was larger and had divisions in things from: trade to books to new products.
All of the companies involved had been acquired without any significant change in management, save for the appointment of Mirror Group directors as chairmen. In 1963 all the companies were combined by the creation of a parent company called the International Publishing Corporation (known informally as IPC). All of the existing companies would continue to exist, but as IPC subsidiaries.
I also think that it would be interesting to have my magazine published online, and therefore in different media's, so that my audience who are young would be able to access this at any time for example online on their phones and therefore we would have more viewers. I also think this would be good as we could still use the same layout but we could have effects and moving images included in this to keep the readers interested.
Some of the magazines published by IPC are:
"With more than 60 iconic media brands, across print, online, mobile, tablets and events." - reflect on whether you would be interested in your magazine being available in other formats.
