Fashion and Styling

The clothing that is mostly worn by these bands are black with the odd burst of colour. For my magazine I would like to use a female model and therefore I would like to take inspiration from Paramore. She mostly wears denim and some leather, I also like the tartan trousers that she is wearing in the right hand image as it shows individuality which is part of my music and so I could take something like this to wear for my model.

The hair of these people are mostly straight and down and flat, as they like to move around whilst singing or around the stage and therefore this takes less maintaining. I think that I will take this and use this for my model, using a lot of conditioner and hairspray so that it looks sleek in the images that I take and so I don't have to keep brushing it during the shoot.

 I like things such as these skirts as they are leather which shows rock, I also think that it is sleek and also I think the tartan skirt is individual and therefore would not challenge the conventions of the genre. I also think I could pair these with some denim such as a denim jacket, or I could pair jeans with a leather jacket which would also go with the conventions of the genre which is indie/rock. I think I will take some of the styling from Paramore such as the tartan and the hair style which is straight and use this for my model and therefore will look like the genre.
