I have learned a lot already during this course:

• Three point lighting

1. Key light 
2. Fill light
3. Hair light

These all add to the effect of an image and create different atmospheres such as just having the hair light on will create a creepy atmosphere as all of the shadows on the face show up.

•  Positioning

For example using the rule of thirds in a magazine, you have to position the model correctly or you could obstruct the text and sell less copies. The model's eyes or a focal point of the model has to be on the line of the first third. Therefore it has to be a midshot of the model to get the positioning right according to the rest of the magazine.

• Layouts

There are three specific layouts for the magazine: F, Z and E. In my magazine I would like to use the F layout as it is clear to read and you are also able to see the model without obstruction from the text.
