Genre

My preferred genre is indie/rock and therefore I will be creating an indie magazine, this will be easier as I read these magazines and listen to the music and therefore I am the audience for this magazine. 
 
The fashion for this genre is a lot of dark denim and leather. It is feeling comfortable and wearing whatever you want but opting for a slight rock theme throughout and that's why its called indie/rock. For my magazine I would like to use a female artist and therefore these images help me decide what to look for: dark denim, leather, dark colours and anything that makes her individual or stand out from the crowd.
             These bands are what I take inspiration from: The 1975, Tess Parks and Arctic Monkeys who are all in the genre of Indie/Rock. From this I can look at magazine covers with them on the cover but I can also look at fashion and articles.
